Standardization of a Retail Branch Network
This affected the operating systems and the application software as well as the complete working environment of the central and branch workstations. In the focus of our actions were primarily the interfaces to the merchandise planning system and the cash desk systems of the more than 30 connected branches throughout the country.
Project Step 1 - Standardization of the central IT
- Standardization of the desktop PCs by preparation and deployment of images and software packages.
- Elimination of faulty operating processes.
- Programming of an automatic printing control system in order to ensure the system independent prints on the respective workstations.
